Can Alexa connect to PS4? NO! It cannot be connected directly to a PlayStation 4 console. However, you can use additional support like Logitech Harmony hub to pair it with PS4. Before connecting the PS4 to other smart home devices, you have to buy the hub (costs more than $99.99) to use it as a controller. Otherwise, you can use the Harmony app from any smartphone to control the device.


  • First, set up the Logitech Harmony hub with your PS4.
  • To do so, install the Harmony app on your smartphone.
  • It will guide you through the connection process.
  • You can download the app directly from the Google Play Store.
  • Next, connect your PS4 console to a smart TV.
  • Connect your PS4, smart TV, and hub to the same wireless network. 
  • Add your PS4 to the hub manually via Bluetooth if it could not pick the Wi-Fi connection.
  • On your smartphone, launch the Harmony app and navigate to Devices.
  • Tap the Edit Devices button and select the Add icon.
  • From the displayed list, tap the Entertainment Device button.
  • Under the Manufacturer section, select Sony.
  • Enter ‘PlayStation 4’ in the search field and tap the Add button.
  • Now, navigate to the PS4 console and choose the inputs.
  • Before setting up the activity, make sure that all the devices are connected properly.
  • In the PS4 main dashboard, select Settings and go to Devices.
  • Select Bluetooth Settings and search for the Harmony Keyboard.

  • If it fails to show up, push the pairing button located at the back of the hub.
  • Now, the app will prompt you to perform a test run.
  • Select it to verify whether everything has been set properly.
  • Once you have built up the PS4 activity, enable Harmony for Alexa.
  • The Harmony hub will work well with Alexa and Google Assistant.
  • Make sure that you have properly linked all the devices with your Logitech account.
  • Finally, you control the PS4 console using Alexa by saying turn on/off PS4 or OK Google.
