HP PRINTER NOT WORKING FOR CHROME [SOLVED]

We suggest you follow the possible solutions below.

If your printer is not working with HP Print for Chrome, you need to add the printer manually to the HP Print for Chrome list of printers. Confirm if your Chromebook and printer are connected to the same network.

  • Select the Apps icon on your Chrome browser.
  • Choose HP Print for Chrome under the list of installed Chrome apps.
  • Select the option called Add Printers by IP Address.
  • Choose Add Printer and enter your printer name in the Printer Name field.
  • Type your printer’s IP address in the IP Address field.
  • Your HP printer is now added automatically to the list of printers.
  • Choose any print file from the Chrome browser like document, image, email, or web page.
  • The Google Print window appears on it, and click Destination on it.
  • Select the Change option and choose your HP printer model from the Print Destinations list.
  • This action automatically enables your HP printer as the default printer in the Chrome browser.
  • Make the necessary changes to change the print settings and click Print.
