Problem Using Feeder MF8580CDW [Solved]

If you are using a ADF, it might lead to paper jamming while feeding the pages for scanning. In such cases, make sure to load the paper properly.

Sometimes, the pages will be misaligned or crooked. It will not appear as a square when you scan the pages using the feeder. So make sure the paper in the feeder is straight.

A black thin vertical line on the copy

Presence of small mark or debris on the scanning glass may lead to the occurrence of a black vertical line.

If you are using the Automatic Document feeder instead of platen glass to scan, a thin line will appear on the scanned paper. The black vertical line will appear even if it is a small smudge on the scanning glass. Make sure that the scanning glass does not have any debris or any small marks. It is advised that you clean the scanner glass using a soft lint cloth whenever perform scanning.

Misaligned color may appear during scanning. The density of the printed copy may be uneven. The problem may also arise if you load many pages together.
