LASERJET PRO 400 COLOR, NOT PRINTING CYAN [SOLVED]

The first step is to check if you are using genuine HP ink cartridges. If you have installed duplicate cartridges, then it might lead to unwanted issues. Clean the printhead to rectify this issue.

Follow the steps mentioned here to clean it.

  • Extend the input tray and load white papers.
  • Touch Setup icon on the printer’s control panel.
  • Select the Tools option in the next step.
  • Choose the Clean Printhead option.

A test print will be printed once the cleaning process is complete. If the print quality is not good, then tap Yes to perform the second phase of cleaning.

In case you aren't completely satisfied with the quality of print even after the second stage of cleaning, then you have a final phase of cleaning that will help you resolve this issue. If the cleaning process does not sort out the issue, then you have to replace the printhead of your HP Laserjet 400 printer.

Finally, replace the ink cartridges after checking their ink level. If your cartridge has low ink levels or is empty, you have to change it.

  • Open the cartridge door of your HP printer and wait till the carriage comes to the center of the printer.
  • Remove the old cartridges by pulling it outwards.
  • Unpack the new HP cartridges from its package and remove the protective tape from it.
  • Install the cartridge in the correct slot and push it firmly until you hear a clicking sound.
  • Close the cartridge door and take a test print. Get in touch with the technical experts if these solutions do not rectify the issue.
