Issue: Printer Not Printing in Color Even, The Cartridge is Full [Solved]

  • It could be a setting issue with your printer. If the printer does not print color, it could be the printhead that may contain dust or debris over it.
  • If your printer contains the automated tool, you can clean the printhead using the same.
  • You can also try printing using a different application to know if the issue is with the printer or the app.
  • Instead of printing a document, try printing a photo to check the reason for this color not printing problem.
  • Meanwhile, go to your computer’s control panel, click Devices and Printers, right-click on your printer name and choose Printing Preferences.
  • In the menu tab, check whether the grayscale option is disabled.
  • If it is enabled, disable it immediately because enabling grayscale will print only in black.
  • Sometimes, if genuine cartridges are not used, then it can also cause this problem.
  • It is recommended not to update the printer’s firmware whenever released.
  • It comes with an update of previous bug fixes and capable of throwing new bugs, which is unsure. Hence, update the printer’s firmware only if it does not print at all.
