ISSUE: Duplex Printing | HP LaserJet P2055dn/ P2055d Printer [SOLVED]


In case you are facing an issue related to Duplex Printing on your HP LaserJet P2055dn/ P2055d printer, follow the guidelines mentioned below to fix the same.

  • Clean the Automatic Document Feeder on your printer while performing the Print function.
  • Any debris or dust stuck in your printer can create print issues.
  • Check if there are any printing sheets stuck. If so, you have to remove them.
  • Now, try to perform the Print function by using your HP LaserJet printer. If you are not able to perform Duplex printing, then the only option is to uninstall and re-install the printer driver.
  • To uninstall the existing printer driver on your Windows 10 system, click Start ---> Settings. Now, choose the Apps option.
  • From the Application window that is opened, locate and select your HP printer driver.
  • Choose the Uninstall option. Once again click Uninstall to confirm the choice you made.
  • Delete the temporary cache files related to your printer.
  • On your Windows system, search for the Change Device Installation Settings Option.
  • Select the Yes (Recommended) choice.
  • After uninstalling the printer driver, restart your system and the printer. Now, establish the connection between your printer and the Windows 10 computer you use.
  • Press the Start icon on your system and click Control Panel from the list of menus.
  • Click Devices and Printers and choose the Add Printers option.
  • Wait until the system detects your printer. If the name of your printer is listed, press the Add Device button.
  • Your system will automatically download the driver files that are necessary for your printer.
  • Ascertain that you do not turn off the printer or let the battery die while performing the driver installation process.
  • Connect your computer to an active network.
  • Once the installation is complete, try performing Duplex Printing.
