CANON EXPANDS ITS SALES AND SERVICE FOOTPRINT IN NORTH INDIA


Canon India is one of the leading digital imaging organization, and it has now set its foot in North India. A new authorized franchise of the level 3 was inaugurated in Ludhiana. The main reason to launch the franchise in Ludhiana was to extend their service to the customers in Punjab, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh.

President and CEO Mr. Kazutada Kobayashi, Director- Market Engineering center Mr. Rahul Goel was present at the inauguration ceremony. Canon currently has its imaging service centers at Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Indore, Pune, and Ludhiana. Its master service centers are located at Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Cochin, and Kolkata. The master service center can repair DSLRs, mirrorless camera, lenses, camera accessories, digital camera/camcorder, network surveillance cameras, and projectors. To promote the range of Inkjet printer, cartridges, and photo media, Canon has launched a Canon Pixma Concept Store in India. This store will have the entire range of the inkjet printers and its components.

In the ceremony, Mr. Kazutada Kobayashi stated that Canon does not see customer satisfaction as just its tagline, but views it as the strong bond that it creates a long-lasting relationship with the valuable customers. He also added that happy customers are the key growth factor of the company and they gain valuable customers through the support they provide. He also said that by setting foot in North India, they would go one step ahead to bond with the customers and then increase their geographical boundaries to offer service to more people. The main reason to launch and expand service centers was to service the customers worldwide and to establish a sense of commitment towards the customers, said Mr. Rahul Goel.
