HP MFP M277 Laser Printer Black won't print


  • Take the black ink cartridge out of the Laserjet M277 printer.
  • Switch On your printer and located the slots on its sides.
  • Keep your fingers into the two slots and then raise the cartridge access door carefully.
  • The carriage moves to the cartridge access region.
  • Do not proceed until your printer’s carriage does not produce any sound.
  • To remove the cartridge, raise the lid on the slot.
  • Move the lid back until it locks into place.
  • Pull the black ink cartridge to take it out of the slot.
  • Keep the black cartridge aside with the nozzles present on it facing up.
  • Lower the access door and carry out a print task, and then print a test page to ensure your printer can function well using the colored cartridge.
  • It is highly recommended not to utilize incompatible cartridges.
  • Check if the black ink cartridge is genuine and compatible with your Laserjet printer.
  • Verify the ink levels of the cartridges from the front panel of your printer.
  • change the black cartridge if the ink levels are less than the estimated level.
  • Utilize an automated tool to clean the printhead.
  • Touch the Settings option on the front panel of your printer.
  • Press the Tools option and then tap Clean Printhead.
  • The Laserjet printer starts to clean the printhead, and a test report gets printed.
  • Study the page and if the print quality is acceptable, click the Done option.
  • Tap Clean Again if the print quality is not good.
  • The Laserjet printer cleans the cartridges, and it prints another test page. If the problem remains unresolved, service your Laserjet printer.
