Can't use E-Print, Not receiving an email to register the PIN

HP ePrint is a cloud-based service that lets you access the printer and send print jobs via email. The printer should be connected to an active Internet connection, and the Web Services should be enabled on it. All that you have to do is get the printer’s email address and send the document as an attachment.

However, the ePrint service may not work due to several reasons such as large PDFs, poor internet connectivity, server issues, etc. In some cases, the printer may be registered and online, but cannot print via ePrint.

Do as per the instructions provided below to resolve the issue.

  • Switch on the printer, and wait until it is idle.
  • Select the Web Service option, and disable it.
  • Restart the router and printer. Reconnect the printer to the network.
  • Now enable the Web Services on the printer again. Accept to the terms of the Web Services setup.
  • The printer will check for the updates and then set up the Web Services.
  • Once you see the Web services have been set up successfully, tap OK. The printer will now print an information page and displays the Web Services summary screen.
  • Now that the Web Services is set up, try to print using the ePrint service. Follow the procedure in sequence.
  • Initially, if you do not know the email address of the printer, select the Print Info option on the control panel.
  • The printer displays the email address on the control panel or prints an information page.
  • Log into your email account, provide the printer’s email address in the To field, and give a subject for the message.
  • Attach the item that you want to print to the email, and send it. The printer prints the document.
  • If the ePrint job doesn’t print, make sure the network is stable.
  • Power cycle the printer and print a test page from the device connected to it over the same network.
  • Make sure the number of the attached files is less than or equal to 10. If your attached file is not compatible, it cannot be sent to the printer for printing. You can refer to the manufacturer’s site and get to know the compatible formats.
