Laserjet Pro P1102 Printer doesn't work on OS 10.11
This error usually occurs when the HP Smart feature is enabled on your Mac computer.
The HP Smart application installs the printer driver on the system automatically.
Turn Off the HP Smart feature on your system.
Choose the Apple menu on your Mac desktop and select the System Preferences option.
Choose the Print & Scan. Print & Fax, or Printers & Scanners option.
Verify if the name of your Laserjet Pro P1102 printer appears in the Printers list. If your printer’s name is present,
click on it and then choose the Minus button. If there are many queues available on your Laserjet Pro printer,
delete all the printers by clicking each one at a time and then selecting the minus button that is present at the bottom of your screen.
Select the Plus sign and click the Add a Printer or Scanner option.
Choose the name of your Laserjet Pro P1102 printer and then select the Use or Print Using menu.
Click the model of your HP printer in the pop-up menu and then click the Add button.
Try carrying out a print or scan operation. If the error remains unresolved, uninstall the printer driver from your Mac system.
Open any web browser on the Mac device and navigate to the manufacturer’s website.
Choose your Laserjet Pro printer’s name and select the version of the operating system.
Click the Download option that is present under the Drivers menu.
Do not turn Off your Mac computer while the download is in progress.
After the download process finished, go to the Downloads location and then click on the .dmg file twice.
Install the software by following the on-screen directions to resolve the problem.

Perform a hard reset process and then connect it to the network again.
Turn On your Deskjet 3050 printer by long pressing its Power button.
Wait until your Deskjet 3050 printer remains idle and silent.
With your Deskjet 3050 switched On, unplug the power cable from the rear.
Disconnect the power cable from the outlet, protector, or strip.
Wait for at least sixty seconds.
Plug the power cord back to the power outlet.
Ascertain not to use any extensions.
Reattach the power cord to the rear of your Deskjet 3050 printer.
Power On your device and the warm-up period starts.
The lights on your printer and the carriage might move.
Do not continue until the warm-up period is complete.
Try linking your Deskjet 3050 printer to the network and check if the error has been resolved.
Power cycle your wireless access point and the Windows or Mac computer.
Get the Wireless Network Test Report printed from the operation panel of your Deskjet printer.
Check the Connectivity area in the report. If the PASS status is present, it indicates that the Deskjet 3050 printer is connected to the Internet.
Check if the wireless router is turned On and functioning correctly.
Look for error messages on top of the report and comply with the instructions indicated to rectify the error.
Check if the name of your Service Set Identifier appears in the Current Configuration section.
Ensure that you have installed the correct driver for your Deskjet 3050 printer. If you have not installed the software, use the software installation CD to do so.
Download and install your driver from the manufacturer’s site.
