Deskjet 3520 new Black ink won't work | color wont print

  • Remove the black ink cartridge from the Deskjet 3520 printer.
  • Turn On your device and find the slots that are located at its sides.
  • Place your fingers into the two slots and then gently raise the cartridge access door.
  • The carriage slides to the cartridge access area.
  • Do not continue until your printer’s carriage does not make any noise.
  • To release the ink cartridge, open the lid present on the slot.
  • Push the lid back until it stops in its place.
  • Pull the black cartridge to take it out of the slot.
  • Place the black cartridge aside such that the nozzles on it face upwards.
  • Close the access door, perform a print job and print a test report to check if your printer can work well using the tri- colored cartridge.It is highly suggested not to use incompatible cartridges.
  • Ensure that the black ink cartridge is genuine and compatible with the Deskjet 3520 printer.
  • Verify the ink levels of your black cartridge from the operation panel of your printer.
  • Replace the black cartridge if the levels are low or empty.
  • Utilize the automated tool to clean the printhead.
  • Tap the Settings icon on the operation panel of your printer.
  • Select Tools and then press the Clean Printhead option.
  • The Deskjet 3520 starts cleaning the printhead and a test page gets printed.
  • Review the page and if the print quality is good, choose the Done option.
  • Select Clean Again if the print quality is not acceptable.
  • The Deskjet 3520 printer cleans the cartridges again and another test page gets printed. If the issue remains unresolved, service your Deskjet 3520 printer.

  • Press the Power button on your Deskjet 3632 printer to switch it On.

  • Lift the ink cartridge access door and the carriage moves to the center area of your Deskjet 3632 printer.
  • Do not proceed until the carriage stays silent and idle.
  • Gently press the ink cartridge to remove it from the slot.

  • Take the new tri-colored cartridge out of its packaging and pull the orange tab to discard the plastic tape.
  • Hold the cartridge by its sides such that the nozzles facing the rear of your HP printer.
  • Ascertain to insert the tri-colored cartridge into the slot that is present in the left region of your printer.
  • Push the tri-colored cartridge into its slot such that it gets seated firmly.
  • Close the cartridge access and the exterior door.
  • Follow the prompts that appear on your computer and wait for at least thirty to forty seconds.
  • An alignment page gets printed by your HP printer.
  • Print a document to verify if the problem has been cleared. If the issue remains unresolved, clean the printhead.
  • Insert white papers into the input tray.
  • Force press and hold the Power button on your Deskjet printer.
  • Touch the Cancel button two times and then press the Resume button once.
  • Release the Power button on the HP printer to end the printhead cleaning process.
  • Clean the cartridges by using an automated tool and then check if the error has been fixed.
