HP ENVY 4500 printer driver issues
HP ENVY 4500 printer driver is not available (message in Control Panel Devices and Printers)
The Driver Unavailable error message occurs because of multiple reasons. Ensure that the software installed on your Windows computer is compatible with the version of the operating system. Make sure you have installed all the driver files that are present on your Personal Computer.
This includes the software file for your keyboard. Power Off your Envy 4500 printer and then wait for about ten to twenty seconds. Unplug the printer's power cable from the rear of your Envy printer. If you have connected the Envy 4500 printer to the Windows computer using a wireless connection, restart the wireless access point. Detach the power cable from your network router.
Wait for about thirty seconds and then reattach the cord to your wireless access point. Enable the wireless connection by tapping the Wireless icon on the operation panel of your HP printer. Wait for your Envy 4500 printer to reconnect to the wireless access point. Turn On your computer.
Replug the power cable to your HP printer’s rear and then power it On. Check if the driver of your Envy 4500 printer is corrupted or outdated. Uninstall the software from the Devices and Printer menu. You can download and install the newest version of the driver using the installation CD given in the shipment box along with your Envy printer.
Else perform the same from the manufacturer’s site. Go to the driver download site and then choose the name of your HP printer. Select the OS version used and then click the Download option which is available under the Drivers tab. Once the download completes, add your Envy 4500 printer to the list of available printers and then print a test page to check if the error message has been cleared from the Devices and Printers window on your desktop.
