HOW TP FIX PRINTHEAD PROBLEM (Oxc19a0015) ?


The error code generally displays on the operation panel of the printer or the Windows or Mac computer’s screen. Try resetting your HP printer to clear the error code. If your device is not On, turn it On by pressing the Power button.

Do not continue until your HP printer remains idle and does not make any noise. With your HP printer switched On, detach one end of the power cord from its rear. Detach the other end of the cord from the power outlet or wall socket. Wait for about a minute and then reconnect the power cord between your HP printer and outlet. While setting the power connection, make sure you do not employ any surge protector or strip as extensions.

Turn On your Hp printer and then check if the error code has been cleared, else try cleaning the contacts and vents that are present in the ink cartridge. Obtain the following materials: a sharp pin, clean cloth, bottled or distilled water, and a dry cotton swab. Power On your HP printer and then raise the ink cartridge access door. Press the tab that is available in front of your cartridge to take it out of the slot. Keep the cartridges on a clean piece of paper with the ink openings facing upward. Check if any orange tab is attached to the ink cartridge and discard the same if present.

Find the vent area that is available next to the HP logo and examine the same. Make use of a clean cloth to remove any dust or debris that accumulate on the cartridge. Carefully reinsert the cartridges into their respective slots and push until you hear a click sound. Ensure that the colored dot on your cartridge matches the color label present on the carriage region. Close the access door and then check if the error has been resolved.

    Really useful post for service persons. Printer head are costly and first thing one has to do is to clean the printer head and check whether it is working. If not then go for new printer head. I work in hp service center and the experience has helped me a lot. By the way keep posting more on other printer issues also. Thanks.
