Facing printer inkhead issues|solved

  • Update the firmware of your Photosmart 7520 printer.
  • Make sure to plug the Photosmart printer into a direct outlet and not to a surge protector or strip.
  • Open the cartridge access door that is located on your HP printer.
  • Take the printhead and all the ink cartridges out of your HP printer.
  • Close the access door and then remove the power cable from the rear of your printer.
  • Reconnect the cord and wait until your Photosmart printer switches On.
  • Update the firmware of your HP printer.
  • Choose the Service, Setup, or Settings menu on the operation panel of your printer.
  • Select the Printer Maintenance, Preferences, or Tools option and click Printer Update or Web Services. If you are instructed to accept the terms of service, comply with the instructions that are displayed on the screen to enable the Embedded Web Services and set up Automatic updates.
  • The above procedure sets the Internet connection of your HP printer to receive updates. If the update process is not started by your HP printer automatically, click the Check for Update or a similar option to initiate the update process.
  • You can also download the firmware updates from the manufacturer’s site.
  • Open a web browser like Chrome on your computer and go to the manufacturer’s website.
  • Choose your Photosmart printer and select the version of the operating system used on your computer or laptop.
  • Select the Firmware option and then click Download. If the firmware section is not available, it shows there are no updates for your Photosmart printer’s firmware.
  • Save the firmware file on your PC and click on it to start the installation process.
  • Choose the checkbox present next to the serial number of your HP printer and then click the Update option.
  • Select the OK button after the update process is complete.
  • Now verify if the error has been cleared by carrying out any of the functions of your HP Photosmart 7520 printer.
