When HP developed the Tango X, it had a question, What if a laser printer doesn’t look like one?

Tango X is designed specially for mobile devices which are driven by an OEM printer app, like IoT devices. It requires a mobile device for installation and setup. Tango X is a smart home device, and it lacks a screen, buttons, LEDs other than the power button LED, and a USB port.

Tango X diverges from typical bulky and thick, intrusive boxes that look like they belong only in a corporate office. The Tango X has a compact, simple design, with round corners, and woven fiber linen cover which covers the outside of the printer to help the Tango X mix into a room surrounding.
