  • Diagnose and rectify the issues in the scanning process by utilizing the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool.
  • Once you get the tool on your personal computer, launch the same by running the HPPSdr.exe file. After the HP Print and Scan Doctor application opens, click on the Start button and then choose your Hewlett Packard printer from the list.
  • If your HP Printer does not appear in the list, power it On and then choose the Retry button.
  • If a connection issue is detected, comply with the prompts that display on the tool.
  • Select the Fix Scanning option and check if the scan error is resolved. If the scan problem persists, make sure that your printer and system are linked to each other correctly.
  • If you are utilizing a VPN, then disable it.
  • Check if there are any updates in the printer driver. On any browser, open the official site. Locate the model of your Hewlett Packard printer and then update the software.
