MY HP SPROCKET DON’T TURN ON [SOLVED]
Your HP Sprocket may not turn on if the battery charge is deficient, the input tray of the Sprocket is vacant, or the Sprocket Firmware is obsolete. Following are the solutions that you can perform to turn on your Sprocket printer.
Solution 1:
- Check the status of the Sprocket battery from the app and modify the Auto Off setting.
Solution 2:
- Inspect the input tray to ensure that photo paper is loaded in it. If there is an empty space, then load at least a minimum of 10 photo sheets with the logos facing down.
Solution 3:
- Check if your mobile and the Sprocket printer are compatible.
- Enable the Bluetooth settings and the Location Services on your phone.
- Launch the app and make sure your Sprocket is connected to your mobile.
Solution 4:
- Try resetting the device. This resolves almost most of the issues.
- Restart your mobile and turn on the Sprocket printer.
- Look for the Reset button on the device and use a pointed object to press it.
- Keep pressing the button for three seconds until the Sprocket performs the Reset function.
- Turn on the printer and check if it works.
Solution 5:
- Your Sprocket may also cause trouble if your Firmware is not up-to-date. Upgrade the Firmware from Printer Settings of the HP Sprocket application on your mobile phone.
Solution 6:
- If none of the above issues help, then contact the support team to resolve it.
